More than 100 local and out-of-province dealers will take part, selling minerals and crystals from locations around the world, including famous mines in Afghanistan, Africa, Brazil, and North America, to name only a few. You will find sculptures made from agate, serpentine, amazonite, rose quartz, jasper and other minerals, one-of-a-kind hand-made sterling silver jewellery, semi-precious stone beads, a large collection of pearls, and silver and gold fittings for making your own jewellery. The Salons des métiers d’art du Québec is a non-profit organization that organizes two events: Plein Art in Québec City, which was founded in 1980 and is held under tents in August; and the Salon des métiers d’art du Québec in Montréal, which was founded in 1955 and is held in December. These events are considered to be the most important exhibition/sales events featuring professional artisans in Canada.
